PURIM – THE FESTIVAL OF ESTHER
We will celebrate Purim on Friday 14th March
Together with our usual erev Shabbat service.

Venue: NG, corner Kloof Nek Road and Upper Union Street. Tamboerskloof.
Our guest speaker is Jonathan Biddlecombe from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jonathan is a musician, artist and together with his wife,
the leader of Beth Shalom Community.
It is of course a fancy dress and we encourage all to break out of your comfort zones and stretch your boundaries. Let’s make it special for the kids also. Then, we will have a celebratory bring ‘n share meal (‘milchik’ – no meat or chicken) after the service.
Purim celebrates a great victory for the Jewish people and this takes on added importance in light of the war in the Middle East.
