Complete Freedom

Complete Freedom                                            By Youval Yanay

The concept of redemption in our faith is more than merely becoming a good person. Redemption is about being liberated from the influence of evil, of Satan. As the prophet Isaiah declared,

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

Redemption isn’t just about avoiding punishment for our sins. It transforms us, freeing us from Satan’s grip and the “me, me, me” mentality. We must understand anew why Yeshua (Jesus) gave His life. Without His sacrifice, God’s justice would require our condemnation. As it says in Colossians 1:13,

“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.”

From the moment we are born, we start to sense our surroundings and respond to them. Unfortunately, we live in a corrupted world. At a young age, we begin to experience pain and hurt due to the actions of those around us. We develop behavioral patterns that enslave us, controlling our responses and actions. In our attempt to protect ourselves from pain, we build walls, walls that also block out the love of God.

God’s love has the power to liberate us from all this. It can break down the walls we have built and heal the wounds within our hearts. Yeshua’s love frees us from the penalty of our sins and from every hold that darkness has on us. Every place where Satan has managed to grip us, every past hurt, every feeling of betrayal, rejection, and lack of love, Yeshua’s love can set us free from all of it and bring healing to every wound. All we need to do is agree, desire, accept, and ask God.

Through faith, we are saved, and through faith, we allow the truth of Yeshua’s love to fill us and bring light to every dark place within us. Yeshua died on the cross to release us completely from the hold of Satan and darkness. Nothing can stand against the cross of Yeshua and His love. As we read in 1 John 4:9,

“In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.”

Redemption and salvation are the expressions of God’s love. God loves you so much that He wants you to return to a relationship with Him. He wants to share everything He has and everything He is with you. Satan has deeply infiltrated people’s lives with lies, always claiming that God wants to take away their joy and freedom. These lies are so ingrained that we fear giving ourselves completely to Yeshua, thinking it will strip us of our freedoms. But this is a great deception. God desires to give us everything.

The love of Yeshua liberates us from the price of our sins and from every grip that darkness has on us. By accepting and embracing His love, we allow God to break down the walls we’ve built and heal our innermost wounds. Through Yeshua, we are invited to experience a profound and transformative relationship with God, free from the chains of sin and the deception of the evil one.

In this revelation of God’s love, we find true redemption and the invitation to live a life filled with His light, joy, and freedom.
